Ifeyinwa Nasiah Okoye is a person with physical disability, trailblazing Chief Magistrate in the Anambra State Judiciary, notable for being the first person with a physical disability to be sworn into this role. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003, she previously earned a degree in Sociology before pursuing her passion for law. Her dedication to justice is rooted in her lifelong desire to advocate for marginalized groups, particularly individuals with disabilities.
She is celebrated for her resilience and contributions to the judiciary. Despite societal challenges, she has risen to prominence and inspired others with her achievements. She is also a passionate advocate for empowering young women professionals to realize their potential. She gained international recognition, receiving a prestigious award at the Justitia Awards in Austria for her contributions to the legal profession.
