Disability rights can only be fully realised when the people they protect—and the institutions responsible for enforcing them—clearly understand what those rights mean in everyday life. To support this goal, the Network for the Advancement of Persons with Visible Disabilities (NAPVID), with funding from International IDEA under the RoLAC II Small Grant, is launching a consultancy aimed at transforming the Edo State Disability Rights Law into a practical resource for citizens and duty-bearers.
This assignment focuses on turning the Law into a tool that empowers communities, guides government officers, and strengthens accountability. By creating a simplified, user-centred version of the Law, the consultancy will help ensure that disability rights are not just documented in legislation but actively understood, claimed, and implemented across the state.
The full Expression of Interest (EOI) details the consultancy objectives, expected outputs, scope, and eligibility criteria for interested applicants.
